Roblox has a huge library of many fun games to play. In this game we will uncover the darker side of Roblox and we will be featuring a top 10 of the most scary games on Roblox. Beware though, these games are not for the faint of heart!

We will cover some of the most popular scary games on Roblox as well as some of my personal favorites. There are a lot of games on Roblox that are very fun to play with friends while being scary.

Scary Games on Roblox

Spider

Spider is a very fun game to play together with friends. One player will become the spider while the others must try to escape the compound by boat. Spider offers similar gameplay as classic games like granny. The house is littered with objects the players must find to ultimately make their escape.

The player that becomes spider must create traps and chase the players. If spider catches all of the players spider wins, if the (surviving) players manage to escape the players win.

Players are able to collect points by winning. These points can be traded in for different spider skins. There are actually a lot of different skins that the players can collect. This game is one of my favorite scary games on Roblox.

Piggy

This game is also one of my personal favorites. Just like Spider, Piggy is very fun to play with friends. You can clearly see that the inspiration of this game was also taken from granny. Players begin in a house or other area they need to escape from. They must find all of the objects and use them the correct way in order to escape.

What makes Piggy unique is that there are a lot of different game modes and maps to choose from. Players have to wait in a lobby where they can select the game mode and map. This functionality makes sure that there is a lot of replayability in the game and you will not quickly get bored of it.

This game is a must to play with friends and at times it can be one of the scariest games on Roblox.

Survive the Killer!

Survive the Killer! is one of the favorite games of one of my friends. What makes this scary Roblox game different from the rest of the scary Roblox games I have already mentioned? In Survive the Killer! you are able to save your teammates from losing. As the killer captures a player other players are still able to save the fallen team mate. It is the killers job to catch as many players they can before the time runs out.

This game also gets more frequent updates than the other scary Roblox games I have mentioned before. You are able to craft unique tradable items what can be very fun. There aren't a lot of scary games on Roblox that offer a trading system for players. The maps of the game also get constant updates and there are even new maps introduced.

My friends really enjoy this game as it offers a very unique scary experience compared to other scary Roblox games. This is really a scary Roblox game you should try.

Escape Running Head

Escape Running Head is one of the more goofy scary Roblox games on this list. I personally do not find this game to be very scary. It is a lot of fun though. This scary game combines some "horror" elements with a classic Roblox obby. It is also a fun game to play with friends as there are a lot of goofy moments in the game.

Some of the stages in Escape Running Head are also very difficult. The platforming could drive you mad some times. Just like the other games you should really give this one a try and see what you make of it. It is one of the more... Interesting scary games on Roblox.

Escape The Carnival of Terror Obby!

A classic obby can't be excluded from this list. Escape The Carnival of Terror Obby! is a scary obby where you need to escape from a "evil" clown. The game can be quite challenging as some of the obstacles you need to conquer are very hard.

The game even has some jump scares even though it is just a obby. You can clearly see the effort the developers have put in creating this game. The assets for the game are really nice and the obby can be quite relaxing, if you are good at it that is. Otherwise the game can be quite frustrating. Please keep this in mind if you decide to play this game as it is supposed to be a fun scary game.

Escape Papa Pizza's Pizzeria!

Escape Papa Pizza's Pizzeria! is also a scary obby that is made by the same developer as the previous entry on this list. The developer is really talented in creating scary games on Roblox. I have played this scary obby multiple times already and I find it fun every time I play through it.

In this game your goal is to make it through a obstacle course to escape from Papa Pizza. The game is a bit controversial though. It has quite a high dislike ratio, although I think this is because it is a obby and it can be quite challenging (just like the previous game I recommended). If you like a challenge, this is a game for you.

Escape Mr Funny's ToyShop!

Escape Mr Funny's ToyShop! also is a classic scary game on Roblox. This is also a obby and you will also have to make it through a obstacle course in this game. Of the obby games on this list I would say that this is the scariest one. As the thumbnail of the game already warns for, the game contains jumpscares that can really creep you out.

You play as a security guard on the first day of the job. The energy of the toy factory shouldn't be turned on at night as... Scary things might happen. If you are in for a good scare Escape Mr Funny's ToyShop! is what you are looking for.

Granny: Multiplayer

Granny: Multiplayer is a remake of a classic scary game in Roblox. If you have already played Granny in the past you will probably already know what you will need to do in this game. In case you don't yet you are in for a treat. Granny: Multiplayer is a escape room style game where you need to collect items to escape from Granny. What makes the remake in Roblox unique is that you are able to play with friends or strangers, hence the "multiplayer" part.

The game consists of multiple "chapters" that players are able to play. Each chapter contains different gameplay elements that make it a fun experience each time and makes sure you don't get bored of the same stuff over and over again.

If you have never played Granny before you should besides playing it on Roblox also give it a try on the app stores. It is one of the most scary games that are out there and the game is completely free!

Murder Mystery 2

If you like a more detective style scary game Murder Mystery 2 is just what you are looking for. The game is very interesting in it's gameplay and is a truly unique entry on this list. You will have to play through different rounds where there are players that are just players and there are players that are killers.

The goal of the killers is to catch as many players as possible without being noticed by the "normal" players. The game is kind of similar to Among Us. No wonder that Murder Mystery 2 has already gained over 7 million likes on Roblox.

If besides scary games you are also interested in mysterious / detective games, Murder Mystery 2 is definitely a game you should check out. You won't regret it!

Rainbow Friends

Finally, Rainbow friends is one of the most classic / iconic of the scary games on Roblox. It is also one of the most popular scary game on Roblox. In this game you and a bunch of other players get dropped in a amusement park where the Rainbow Friends live. These are creatures you need to escape from. Each creature has a unique element to them what makes them easy or hard to avoid.

In the game you are able to hide in a cardboard box what makes you invisible to the creatures that lurk around the map. Just like some of the other games on this list the goal is to escape the amusement park with as many players as possible. Unlike the other games a player character can't control one of the creatures. The creatures are all non playable characters.

Rainbow Friends is not one of the most popular scary games by accident. This game is really fun to play alone as with friends. You should check it out.
